Reviews in Climate and Health

Frontiers in Climate is delighted to launch “Reviews in Climate and Health”, a specialized collection dedicated to publishing high-quality scholarly review papers. This initiative is set to become a platform for synthesizing and critically assessing key topics across the spectrum of climate and health research.

A primary objective of this collection is to highlight recent advances in this field. Review papers are vital for consolidating the rapidly expanding body of new research, critically evaluating novel methodologies, highlghting important research gaps, and identifying emerging theoretical frameworks. Importantly, “Reviews in Climate and Health” will also place strong emphasis on articulating important directions and new possibilities for future inquiries. This forward-looking aspect is central to our mission to actively shape the discourse in the field.

To cater to varying scopes and depths, the collection welcomes various review types including systematic reviews, scoping reviews, narrative reviews, critical reviews, umbrella reviews, rapid reviews, and mini review papers. Systematic reviews and scoping reviews should follow established reporting guidelines (i.e., PRISMA, PRISMA-ScR). New articles will be added as they are published.
