It aims to highlight recent advances in the field, while emphasizing important directions and new possibilities for future inquiry. We anticipate the research presented will promote discussion across the membrane science and technology community and translate into best-practice applications in membrane research, as well as stimulating understanding and future research.

This collection addresses the full breadth of the journal, spanning all of its specialty sections:

—Membrane applications – energy

—Membrane applications – gas and vapor

—Membrane applications – liquid

—Membrane formation and structure

—Membrane modules and processes, as well as integrated processes

—Membrane transport, modelling, and simulation

The ‘Reviews in Membrane Science and Technology’ collection welcomes reviews, mini-reviews, and perspective-type articles across the full journal scope. New articles will be added to this collection as they are published.
