Dr Anina Rich - Women in Science Day 2011

Students from Years 9--12 and their teachers are invited to attend. Attendees will have the chance to meet and hear from some of Macquarie University's prominent female scientists, researchers and teachers and learn about their amazing contributions to this field.

Students are responding very positively to our revised curriculum, says Macquarie University's Manager of Student Recruitment Jason Elias. The benefit of our flexible degree structure combined with the opportunity for specialisation is very attractive to students.

The 2011 Women in Science Day will be divided into three sessions starting from 10am. During the first session students will hear from keynote speakers. After the lunch break, a group of scientists will take part in a panel discussion. Concluding the day will be a meet and greet session where students will have the opportunity to chat to the various scientists, view demonstrations and ask questions.
