Singapore Youth Award Inspirational Talk at the School of Science and Technology

The School of Science and Technology hosted Singapore Youth Award recipient, Dr Tong Joo Chuan for an inspirational lunch talk on 21 April 2011.

Excellence is a lifelong skill to be gained. Every little effort you put in adds up to make a world of difference, shared Dr Tong.

Organised by the National Youth Council, the SYA Inspirational Talk Series seeks to encourage students to strive for Excellence with a Heart and excel in all aspects of work and studies while taking on active roles in the community.

The Singapore Youth Award is the nation's highest accolade for youths who have excelled both in their career and active community service. It seeks to acknowledge inspiring young achievers with the drive and commitment to look beyond themselves, to strive for personal excellence and by doing so, contribute significantly to the community in Singapore.
