About this Research Topic
Entrainment is critical for matching rhythmic physiology and behavior to the predictable changes in the
environment such as light and dark, or warm and cold, lunar-mediated or seasonal cycles.
This Research Topic will cover entrainment of biological rhythms under both natural and laboratory conditions. We shall illustrate this subject using different organisms that cover a range of geophysical oscillations.
Keywords: Entrainment, rhythmicity, time-domains, Zeitgebers, natural/laboratory conditions
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
