Changes in the educational organizations are inevitable and the university must meet new requirements in a new paradigm (Gafurov, Safiullin, Akhmetshin, Gapsalamov, & Vasilev, 2020).
Universities, as institutions capable of thinking the future, assume an increasingly relevant role at the level of the growing importance of science and its social and economic impact. In this line of thought, their metamorphosis should be promoted. This renewal requires four movements: from employability to general, humanistic, and scientific education; from the excellence of academic productivism to the valorisation of pedagogy and teaching and training work; from entrepreneurialism to a sense of community; from entrepreneurship to public responsibility (Nóvoa, 2019).
In this sense, new and innovative perspectives are needed in education, namely in higher education (Alonso García, 2020). New models of training and instructional methods must be thought of (Rodrigues, 2020). Teaching contents and techniques should be structured in line with the learners 'objectives, students' needs, and professional and soft skills required by the fourth industrial revolution (Atiku, & Boateng, 2020) that should be supported an innovative technology-enhanced pedagogy (Blau, Shamir-Inbal, & Avdiel, 2020). Issues and challenges such as entrepreneurship education, development, and soft and technological skills should be considered (Fayolle, 2013; Liñán & Fernández-Serrano, 2014; Núñez, 2016; Rodrigues et al., 2021).
