For example, it has been recognized that the recovery of motor functions after stroke becomes poor in the chronic phase. However, the development of the brain-machine interfaces has been shown to promote the recovery of such functions. In addition, machine learning and deep learning are being used to analyze movements and determine the optimal solution for prognosis. Thus, the integration of neuroscience and advanced technology has the potential to help overcome some of the limitations of motor function recovery in rehabilitation.
