This collection encourages contributions from scientists who are engaged in industry and commercial projects to provide their insights and forecasts on the ways in which Pharmacology of Infectious Diseases is utilized and explored in the industry sector. Contributions that assess the pharmacology of infectious diseases for commercialization from within academia are also welcome. Authors are also encouraged to identify the challenges that need to be overcome before pharmaceuticals and related products become economically viable. We also welcome submissions looking at challenges hindering the commercialization of drugs and solutions to speed up the process of moving drugs through the pipeline.
