Global Excellence in Pathology: Africa , we are pleased to relaunch Volume II of this Research Topic.
Global collaboration is the cornerstone of scientific advancement.
Frontiers in Medicine has organized a series of special edition Research Topics, with the goal of highlighting the latest advancements in Pathology across the globe, showcasing the academic excellence and high-quality work of internationally recognized researchers.
These collections aim to shed light on the recent progress made across the entire breadth of the Pathology field and reflect on the future challenges faced by researchers across borders.
In addition to original research articles and brief research reports reflecting the breadth of anatomic and clinical pathology practice on the African continent, other article types, including perspectives, community case studies, and review articles, are also encouraged.
Besides themes related to diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive issues, submissions focused on matters of particular concern and priority to the African continent are sought, including the role of pathology in global public health, the practice of pathology in resource-constrained settings, emerging technologies, capacity- building measures geared towards enhancing diagnostic pathology services, and career development and mentorship programs and activities targeted to pathologists and allied laboratory professionals practicing on the African continent.
