Specifically, many people use mobile phones excessively and compulsively and are susceptible to negative emotions once when they have no access to mobile phones. Mobile phones have become a trigger that leads to obvious impairment in human physical, mental, and social functions. Therefore, it is of urgent significance to examine the influencing factors of mobile phone addiction and carry out effective interventions on mobile phone addiction.
The first goal of this Research Topic is to deepen the understanding of the internal and external factors influencing mobile phone addiction. Uncovering the unique and interactive effects of individual and environmental factors on mobile phone addiction will greatly help understand the occurrence and development of mobile phone addiction. The second goal of this Research Topic is to explore the effectiveness of cognitive or behavioral interventions on mobile phone addiction. Appropriate training programs will contribute to the prevention and intervention of mobile phone addiction.
In this Research Topic, we would like to seek articles that enhance our understanding of the influencing factors and intervention strategies of mobile phone addiction. We are interested in articles that use a range of research methodologies to generate review-based, qualitative, correlational, and empirical findings on different types of mobile phone addiction.
