About

Analysis technology for biomedical imaging data is critical in the field of precision medicine. However, it is still difficult to analyze biomedical imaging data with high efficiency, high accuracy, and high consistency, due to three limitations: imaging quality, analysis efficiency, and subjective differences among different clinicians. In recent years, artificial intelligence technologies have made breakthroughs in many fields. Hence, intelligent analysis technology for biomedical imaging data has big potential to improve the analysis accuracy and efficiency as well as avoid subjective differences among different clinicians.

For this Research Topic, we would like to bring together recent advances in key biomedical intelligent analysis technologies, such as biomedical image segmentation, biomedical image registration, biomedical image reconstruction, biomedical image restoration, intelligent quantification, intelligent diagnosis, and so on. These key biomedical intelligent analysis technologies are the foundations of precision medicine as well as the hot research areas in the field of precision medicine. We believe that these key biomedical intelligent analysis technologies will significantly boost the abilities to achieve precision medicine.
