Building the Future of the Discipline: Insights from Rising Stars in Public Mental Health

About this Research Topic

We are delighted to present the Rising Stars: Public Mental Health 2021 article collection. This collection showcases the high-quality work of internationally recognized researchers in the early stages of their independent careers, as part of a series across several established journals at Frontiers.

All Rising Star researchers were individually nominated by the Frontiers in Public Health editors in recognition of their potential to influence the future directions in their respective fields. The work presented here highlights the diversity of research performed across the entire breadth of public mental health and presents advances in theory, experiment, and methodology with applications to compelling problems.

New articles will be added to this collection as they are published. Topic editors encourage the submission of empirical research, perspective, general commentary, and review article types.

Please note that this is an invitation-only series and that contributions are decided by topic editors. External submissions will not be accepted. Please inform topic editors when you wish to submit a manuscript.

Early career researchers are defined as 5-8 years after completing their Ph.D., M.D., or other equivalent terminal degrees, with a relevant publication background.

Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements.
