Since the end of the 20th century, the field of diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases has made extraordinary progress. The advances in technology has facilitated the early diagnosis of different cutaneous conditions, leading to a better management of patients. Furthermore, new insights into the pathogenesis of skin inflammation and tumours have provided the basis for new therapeutic approaches.

The aim of this Research Topic is to highlight the latest advancements in diagnostic techniques and therapeutic approaches for skin diseases. Here we aim to provide current trends and future directions in Dermatology, through an updated knowledge for the community of readers, in order to inspire new ideas and support research in this field.

Authors are welcome to address diagnostic and therapeutic in skin diseases including but not limited to the following themes:
