About this Research Topic
When people communicate with the outside world, it is inevitable to exchange information, and it is easy to encounter conflict and psychological problems. As an essential part of positive psychology, mindfulness intervention has been proven to help improve a series of negative psychological states and promote positive emotions and subjective well-being. However, what theoretical and practical contributions mindfulness can bring in communication remains unknown. Thus, this Research Topic focuses on the influence and intervention of mindfulness on the psychological problems caused by communication. We welcome high-quality studies using various research methods, including quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods, and reviews, on the second generation of mindfulness and other meditation-based interventions (e.g., loving-kindness meditation, Confucian mindfulness, Taoist mindfulness, etc.).
This Research Topic encourages submissions that cover but are not limited to the following topics:
