Despite these advancements, there remains a gap in identifying the most effective techniques for different herbal matrices and the development of sustainable alternatives.This Research Topic aims to explore and discuss emerging trends in the quality assessment of herbal medicines, supplements, and botanicals. The primary objective is to evaluate various analytical techniques, compare their effectiveness, and identify the best practices for ensuring the quality and safety of these products. Additionally, the research will focus on the identification of quality markers and the exploration of innovative, sustainable techniques.
