In this sense, the most recent advances in immersive technologies, including artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality can be applied to improve understanding around complex contexts. Moreover, educational projects that guarantee real-time implementation in various types of learning processes are crucial to bring theory closer to practice, and to enhance the engagement of the students. In recent years, a large number of projects in which electronic resources are used to develop educational kits have gained substantial interest promoting an effective learning in engineering courses under the concept of “learning by doing”. By using this technology, students shift traditional learning environments, design their own experiments and repeat their experiments, which conduct a deeper analysis of experimental results.
