About this Research Topic
This Research Topic mainly aims to solicit studies that focus on the mental health status of different healthcare professional samples and factors associated with the mental issues, including individual characteristics, modulating organizational factors, and management patterns, as well as effective interventions to promote psychological wellbeing among healthcare professionals. Furthermore, we also welcome innovative research on new technologies, such as digitally delivered methods, that can be applied to promote mental health of healthcare professionals.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Specific mental health issues in different healthcare professionals working in various settings;
2. Specific demographic (individual) and institutional factors associated with their mental health;
3. Psychological resilience, post-traumatic growth and its associated factors among healthcare professionals;
4. The relationships between mental health, job satisfaction and workforce sustainability in healthcare professionals;
5. The impact of professionals’ mental health on patient care and healthcare quality;
6. The relationship between mental health and workplace violence in healthcare settings;
7. Network analysis of different mental health symptoms;
8. Common coping strategies and help-seeking pathways utilized by healthcare professionals;
9. Interventions on institutional and social levels to promote their mental health;
10. Digitally delivered strategies for mental health promotion.
Manuscripts focusing on other related topics are also encouraged to submit. All submissions will be reviewed and given serious consideration.
