This Research Topic highlights high-quality case reports in Pediatric Cardiology related to 1) genetics; 2) experimental research; 3) fetal diagnosis; 4) morphology; 5) structure, metabolism and physiology; 6) non-invasive diagnostic techniques; 7) invasive diagnostic techniques; 8) interventional cardiology; 9) cardiac dysrhythmias / electrophysiology; 10) cardiac surgery; 11) intensive care management; 12) early / late outcomes; 13) pulmonary hypertension/heart transplant / mechanical assistance and 14) neurodevelopment / psycho-social aspects.

Our case reports aim to highlight unique cases of patients that present with an unexpected/unusual diagnosis, treatment outcome, or clinical course. Case reports provide insight into the differential diagnosis, decision making, and clinical management of unusual cases and are a valuable educational tool.

This Research Topic will only accept Case Report submissions, reports must be original with the aim to significantly advance the field to be considered. All Case Reports should contain “Case Report" in the title to be considered for this Research Topic. We welcome all case reports covering aspects of Pediatric Cardiology.
