About this Research Topic
Given the high prevalence of atopic individuals and the occurrence of respiratory infections, and in light of the pandemic period that is currently changing the common epidemiological trend, this topic aims to provide an updated focus on the emerging concepts and challenges in the epidemiological burden of respiratory infections in people with allergic diseases. his Research Topic aims to provide a publication forum with rapid turnaround, for high-quality research in the epidemiology of respiratory infections and allergic diseases.
We invite Authors to submit original articles, epidemiological studies, public health, quality improvement research, review articles, clinical studies and case reports. Topics may include, but are by no means limited to:
• prevention and outcome of respiratory infections in patients with allergies
• the epidemiology of respiratory infections and allergic diseases
