About this Research Topic
This Research Topic is a celebration of the 2 year anniversary of Frontiers in Electronic Materials (in August 2023).
Led by Field Chief Editor, Prof. Ctirad Uher, Frontiers in Electronic Materials serves as a Gold Open Access multidisciplinary journal, aiming to disseminate high-quality research covering the design, fabrication, characterization, and application of electronic materials.
The goal of this Research Topic is to reflect on the past year, showcase ongoing cutting-edge research and novel developments, and to discover new insights and outlook on the future of the field as a whole.
Authors are encouraged to consider the greatest challenges in their respective sub-disciplines, and how to address those challenges within:
• Dielectric and Ferroelectric Materials
• Optoelectronic Materials
• Piezoelectric Materials
• Semiconducting Materials and Devices
• Superconducting Materials
• Thermoelectric Materials
All article types are welcomed as part of this Research Topic. Reviews, Mini Reviews, and Perspectives are particularly encouraged.
