The Reproductive issues in Lupus Section of Frontiers in Lupus is pleased to be launching this Research Topic to highlight themes from the 12th International Conference Reproduction, Pregnancy and Rheumatic Diseases (RheumaPreg 2023).
We invite submissions of all article types with special emphasis on original research manuscripts or review articles for this themed issue of Frontiers in Lupus. This is an open access journal and a new edition to the respected Frontiers collection of journals.
The Research Topic will embrace scientific contributions focused on the main topics discussed in the context of Rheumapreg2023 conference. These include but are not limited to the wide range of reproductive issues for women and men of child-bearing age with rheumatic diseases including SLE, APS, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, axial Spondyloarthritis, Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, Myositis, Scleroderma, Sjögren’s, Vasculitis, and Behçet’s.
We welcome manuscripts covering pre pregnancy, antenatal, and intrapartum care as well as challenges in the postnatal period for women with chronic rheumatic disease.
Also topics including contraception, family planning and reproductive rights for women of childbearing age with rheumatic disease as well as the many issues around drug treatment of rheumatic disease in pregnancy and lactation, management of life threatening complications of rheumatic disease in pregnancy and manuscripts covering pediatric outcomes for this patient group are invited.
