Advancing this knowledge is essential for improving risk stratification and developing sex-specific therapies.

This Research Topic aims to clarify the molecular, physiological, and clinical effects of sex hormone signalling on cardiovascular and renal health. We seek interdisciplinary research on how hormonal fluctuations contribute to hypertension, atherosclerosis, chronic kidney disease, and heart failure.
