Recently, iSensor and iMedicine have achieved flourishing development in human healthcare, pathogenesis research, and pharmaceutical innovation because of their flexibility and tunability as prerequisites satisfying the requirements for the challenging performance in complex operating environments, which may revolutionize the current status of global health. Following the evolving consumer demand and emerging technologies, significant advances and major breakthroughs will predictably occur in four areas on this topic: scope, connectivity, non-invasiveness and miniaturization, which will greatly reduce healthcare costs and might lead to significantly improved care to complement central laboratory diagnostics.

Undoubtedly, healthcare in the next few years will be individual centered by empowering patients and the general population with personalized devices for preventive medicine, mobile health care, and telemedicine. In particular, by combining machine learning and big data analytics, iSensor and iMedicine could shape the future of healthcare at a global level by providing users with more accurate diagnostics and more effective treatments.
