About this Research Topic
The prevention of diabetes mellitus and its complications is strongly reliant on factors such as self-monitoring and risk factors management.
Patients with diabetes mellitus are frequently advised to maintain a healthy weight, get regular exercise, and follow a low-fat, low-salt, high-fiber, and low glycemic load diet. They are also urged to refrain from smoking and drink alcohol in moderation.
