About this Research Topic

This Research Topic is still accepting articles.

Background

The landscape of epigenetics and epigenomics is rich with groundbreaking discoveries that have reshaped our understanding of cellular memory, differentiation, and disease. As a vibrant and interdisciplinary field, it bridges fundamental biological processes with innovative technological advances, driving progress in cell biology, development, and health.

The goal of this Research Topic is to highlight the work of pioneers in the epigenetics space in collaboration with the second annual meeting of the Epigenetics Society. This article collection will educate and inspire readers, while providing personal views of the history of the field from (or about) past and present leaders who have shaped it. We welcome submissions from our editorial board members, as well as members of the Epigenetics Society, and beyond.

We encourage submissions that provide insightful commentary on the past, present, and future of epigenetics and epigenomics. Join us in this dialogue to honor the past and shape the future of scientific breakthroughs in epigenetics.
