Read moreThe mission of the Sensory Neuroscience section is to publish high-quality peer-reviewed research on the neuroscience of human sensation and behavior. Aims include integrating and cross-linking research in the sensory neuroscience field as well as encouraging investigations into the human sensation in relation to adaptation and learning, memory, movement, perception, speech, social interactions, and neurological or physical conditions. Sensory Neuroscience publishes both empirical and theoretical work at all levels of investigation from cellular to human interactions. Studies can make use of behavioral, biomechanical, brain stimulation, computational, electrophysiological, neuroimaging, neurophysiological, psychophysical, and other pertinent techniques. Original Research articles are of main interest, but Brief Research Report, Case Report, Clinical Trial, Data Report, Opinion, Perspective, Review, and Study Protocol articles are also welcome.

Sensory Neuroscience welcomes submissions of the following article types: Brief Research Report, Case Report, Clinical Trial, Correction, Data Report, Editorial, General Commentary, Hypothesis and Theory, Methods, Mini Review, Opinion, Original Research, Perspective, Review, Study Protocol, Systematic Review and Technology and Code.
All manuscripts must be submitted directly to the section Sensory Neuroscience, where they are peer-reviewed by the Associate and Review Editors of the specialty section.
