The consumption of fish is a key route for increasing the content of potentially toxic heavy ‎metals in the food chain, which has a negative consequence for both the aquatic and human ‎wellbeing. This article measures the contents of Al, Ag, Ba, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb, Fe, ‎Se, Si, V, and Zn in various fish species and their impacts on human health for six different ‎age groups. ICP-MS was employed to quantify the total concentrations of Al, Ag, Ba, Cd, ‎Co, Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb, Fe, Se, Si, V, and Zn in fish species. The heavy metals that exist at ‎high level in various fish species were Zn (12.7-40.6 mg/kg), Fe (10.1-37.1 mg/kg), Al (1.28-‎‎6.60 mg/kg), Mn (0.402-5.27 mg/kg), Se (0.645-3.68 mg/kg), and Si (1.47-3.19 mg/kg), Cu ‎‎(0.338-1.48 mg/kg), while Ba (0.083-7.07 mg/kg), Pb (
