Background

Spatio-temporal analysis and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Neuroscience, Neuroimaging, and Neurooncology are rapidly growing and highly interdisciplinary areas, encompassing a wide range of topics from synaptic connectivity to engineering and computer science. This Research Topic seeks to bring together cutting-edge research on these trends/analyses, including topics such as spike trains, molecular imaging, and dynamical functional connectivity.

The goal is to highlight recent advancements and provide a comprehensive overview of the state of the field. We welcome original research articles, reviews, and perspectives that contribute to our understanding of these exciting and rapidly developing areas.

In favor of open science, submitted manuscripts are requested to upload associated code on open repositories and leverage data from public datasets, or when possible upload openly.

This Research Topic is related to the AI Neuro Summer School 2023 in Lipari (Sicily, Italy), which offers the perfect location for brainstorming with world-class scientists in wonderful surroundings: https://www.neurosummerschool.org/
