Thermoelectric materials and devices have garnered considerable attention in recent years due to their potential to address energy conversion challenges and contribute to sustainable energy solutions. Amongst the various avenues of exploration within this field, hybrid thermoelectric materials and devices have emerged as an up-and-coming area of research. By integrating diverse material classes and leveraging advanced fabrication techniques, hybrid systems offer enhanced performance and versatility compared to their traditional counterparts.

This Special Issue seeks to compile high-quality, original research articles, reviews, technical notes, and case studies that delve into the complexities and advancements in hybrid thermoelectric materials and devices. We invite contributions from researchers and practitioners across disciplines to explore fundamental principles, novel materials, innovative designs, and practical applications in this rapidly evolving field.

Topics of interest for submissions include, but are not limited to:

1. Synthesis, characterisation, and optimisation of hybrid thermoelectric materials.

2. Design, modelling, and simulation of thermoelectric devices for various applications.

3. Integration of nanomaterials, organic polymers, and inorganic semiconductors in hybrid architectures.

4. Fabrication techniques and manufacturing processes for scalable production.

5. Performance evaluation, efficiency enhancement strategies, and practical challenges in deploying hybrid systems.

6. Applications of hybrid thermoelectric materials and devices in energy harvesting, waste heat recovery, cooling, and beyond.

Submitted manuscripts will undergo peer review by experts in the field to ensure scientific rigour and relevance to the theme of the Special Issue.
