A Corrigendum on
Deciphering the influence of dietary synbiotics in white shrimp gut and its effects in regulating immune signaling pathways

by Das SP, Abidin Z, Huang H-T, Lin Y-R, Huang C-Y, Wu Y-S, Hu Y-F and Nan F-H (2024) Front. Mar. Sci. 10:1342708. doi: 10.3389/fmars.2023.1342708

In the published article, the citation “(Abidin et al., 2022)” was mistakenly not included in the legend of Supplementary Table 4.

The Table legend previously was: “Supplementary Table S4: The final weight, weight gain, specific growth, average daily growth and feed efficiency rate of white shrimp, P. vannamei after fed with different experimental feed.”

The corrected Table legend is: “Supplementary Table S4: The final weight, weight gain, specific growth, average daily growth and feed efficiency rate of white shrimp, P. vannamei after fed with different experimental feed (Abidin et al., 2022).”

A correction has been made to Materials and methods, Experimental design, Paragraph 1.

This sentence previously stated:

“Here, we prepared six formulated diets with various pre-and probiotic concentrations, as indicated by Abidin et al. (2022), all of which led to differential growth performances (Supplementary Table 1).”

The corrected sentence appears below:

“Here, we obtained six formulated diets with various pre-and probiotic concentrations, as indicated by Abidin et al. (2022), all of which led to differential growth performances (Supplementary Table 1).”

A correction has been made to Results, Paragraph 1. This sentence previously stated:

“Supplementary Table 4 presents each group’s average initial and final weights, weight gain, and specific growth rate.”

The corrected sentence appears below:

“Supplementary Table 4 represents each group’s average final weights, weight gain, specific growth rate, average daily growth, and feed efficiency (Abidin et al., 2022).”

A correction has been made to Discussion, Paragraph 1. This sentence previously stated:

“However, the feed containing 5 g/kg body weight M. oleifera prebiotics with or without probiotics did not lead to significant growth.”

The corrected sentence appears below:

“However, as stated by Abidin et al. (2022) the feed containing 5g/kg body weight M. oleifera prebiotics with or without probiotics did not lead to significant growth.”
