About this Research Topic

This Research Topic is currently accepting articles, but is closing soon.

Background

Water conservation in agriculture has a significant influence on both food sustainability and environmental health. As our population rises, the demand for food will increase, putting further strain on restricted water supplies. It is estimated that freshwater supply is modest (about 2.5%) and approximately 70% of the available freshwater worldwide is primarily used in agricultural agriculture. In order to make sustainable agriculture feasible, researchers are presently looking into creative and novel approaches to conserve water in agriculture with the help of contemporary technologies. Therefore, the objective of this research topic is to Collect cutting-edge research in the field of sustainable agriculture using creative ‎and novel approaches to conserve water with the help of contemporary ‎technologies.
