Background

This Research Topic is the Second Volume of the Research Topic Case Reports in PET Imaging 2024

This new volume highlights high-quality case reports in Nuclear Medicine relating exclusively to positron emission tomography (PET) imaging, an imaging technique commonly used in cancer diagnostics.

Our case reports aim to highlight unique cases of patients that present with an unexpected or unusual diagnosis, treatment outcome, or clinical course. Case reports provide insight into the differential diagnosis, decision making, and clinical management and are a valuable educational tool.

This Research Topic will only accept Case Report submissions on the theme of PET imaging. Reports must be original with the aim to advance the field to be considered.

All Case Reports should contain “Case Report" in the title to be considered for this Research Topic. We welcome all case reports covering aspects of PET imaging.
