A Correction on
Impact of slope gradient on tree biomass, carbon sequestration, and ecological functions in Rayagada District, Odisha, India
by Mishra PK, Kaushal R, Islam S, Ramajayam D, Samal SK, Jena KJ, Lenka PC, Tomar JMS and Madhu M (2025) Front. Agron. 7:1692849. doi: 10.3389/fagro.2025.1692849
Equation 1 in Materials and methods, Growth and biomass, Paragraph 1 was erroneously given as “AGB= 0.18D2.16×1.32”. The correct equation is “AGB= (0.18D^2.16)×1.32”.
There was a mistake in Table 6 as published. In column “Aboveground biomass and carbon”, the total biomass for Odisha, India was incorrectly reported as “89.6 Mg ha−1 and 42.1 Mg ha−1 C”. The corrected Table 6 appears below.
Table 6. Comparative summary of slope/topography effects on aboveground biomass (AGB) and carbon stocks across selected studies (India, China, SE Asia, Africa).
Funding for this article was erroneously omitted. The corrected Funding statement appears below:
“The author(s) declare that financial support was received for the research, and/or publication of this article. The establishment of the family farm development project was supported by funding from Karl Kübel Stiftung (KKS), Germany, to the NGO Agragamee, Odisha.”
The Acknowledgements was incorrectly given as:
“The authors acknowledge the help and cooperation rendered by Shri Achyut Das, Director, NGO Agragamee and his Team in providing all the available primary and secondary information besides arranging for the field visits to interact with the farmers in the ecovillages to finalize this paper.”
The corrected statement is:
“The authors gratefully acknowledge the support and cooperation of Shri Achyut Das, Director of Agragamee, and his team for providing access to relevant primary and secondary data, as well as for facilitating field visits and interactions with farmers in the eco-villages that contributed to the finalization of this paper.”
The Conflict of Interest statement was erroneously given as: “The authors declare that the research was conducted in the absence of any commercial or financial relationships that could be construed as a potential conflict of interest. The handling editor VP declared a past co-authorship with the author(s) RK.”
The correct Conflict of Interest statement is:
“The authors declare that the research was conducted in the absence of any commercial or financial relationships that could be construed as a potential conflict of interest. The handling editor VP declared a past co-authorship with the author(s) RK, JT, MM.”
