In the original article, there was a mistake in the legend for Figure 3 as published. “Caribbean” is missing before “… spiny lobster (D) fisheries.” The correct legend is “Figure 3. Participation in value chain, with the three fisheries combined (A), and specific to California spiny lobster (B), penshell (C), Caribbean spiny lobster (D) fisheries.”

In the original article, there was a mistake in Figure 3 as published. Figure 3B was duplicated, and the second version was named part C. The corrected Figure 3 appears below, and the correct Figure 3C is included.

The authors apologize for this error and state that this does not change the scientific conclusions of the article in any way. The original article has been updated.
