Constructing the Job Gamification Perception Questionnaire: A Multidimensional Framework for Conceptual Clarity and Measurement Precision

ChatGPT rekindles people's enthusiasm for discussing science and technology and labor. In the digital situation, digital technology not only challenges traditional posts, but also provides new means and media for enterprise management. Many enterprises provide an immersive experience for their employees through job gamification design, thus increasing their work efficiency, fun and organizational commitment. This study focuses on employees' perception of job gamification, discusses the core structure and connotation structure of job gamification perception in digital management situation, and then develops a job gamification perception scale suitable for digital management situation in China. The design of this research is divided into three steps: Firstly, semistructured in-depth interviews with 31 managers and 27 employees in 23 enterprises rooted in 12 industries have shaped the connotation and structure of job gamification perception through threelevel coding; Secondly, combined with the results of factor analysis, the four dimensions of the perception scale of job gamification are constructed, namely, goal guidance, rule constraint, voluntary participation and feedback support, which proves that the reliability and validity of the scale are good; Finally, this study explores the relationship between the perception of work gamification and work involvement, and verifies the predictive validity of the scale of job gamification perception by subgroup method. This study provides a practical measurement tool for the future research and analysis of job gamification perception, and also provides practical enlightenment for enterprises to use digital technology and gamification design to improve employees' organizational commitment and work performance.
