About this Research Topic
Collective intelligence (CI) is a shared intelligence that emerges from the collaboration, collective efforts, and competition of many individuals. Moreover, many scholars of CI point out that it allows to avoid some of the risks of biases, because it is specifically designed to bring more voices into a conversation.
This Research Topic explores the following questions:
• Can AI enhance human collaboration?
• How does AI impact collaboration, team-work and leadership?
• Can Collective Intelligence enhance AI and the future of collaborative action?
• How can we design future hybrid workplaces, where AI merges with humans as spaces of emerging cobotization (fruitful collaboration between humans and AI) rather than automation (replacement of humans by AI)?
This Research Topic aims to attract original articles from a wide variety of methodological, disciplinary, and interdisciplinary perspectives that develop new insights with regards to the intersection between Artificial Intelligence and Collective Intelligence.
Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Hybrid Collective Intelligence, Team-working, Leadership, Hybrid Workplaces, Cobotization, Automation
