Background

As the interaction between humans and computers continues to evolve, the field of neuroergonomics is at the forefront of investigating how emerging neurotechnologies can be integrated into human perceptual, cognitive, and physical processes in the workplace. This research topic seeks to highlight innovative studies at the intersection of neuroscience, neuroengineering, and human factors, with a focus on enhancing human performance and well-being through neurotechnology.

We invite researchers and practitioners to submit original research articles, review papers, and position statements on topics including, but not limited to:

· Neuroergonomics in action: enhancing human performance through emerging neurotechnologies

· Neurotechnology at work: designing the future of human-machine symbiosis

· Symbiotic workspaces: augmenting human potential with neurotechnology

· Wired for work: cognitive and physical augmentation through neurotechnology

· Integrating neurotechnology in the workplace: innovations in human-machine interaction

· Human-centered neurotechnology: designing the augmented worker

· Usability, user experience, and acceptance of neurotechnologies in real-world settings

· Augmented and synthetic work environments: effects on perceptual and cognitive processes

· Advanced brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) for workplace applications

· Wearable neurotechnologies for human performance optimization

· Adaptive systems and personalized solutions in neuroergonomics

· Enhancing work through neurotechnology: innovation, ethics, and human augmentation.

Authors are encouraged to submit high-quality, original research that has not been published or is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts should follow the standard submission guidelines of Frontiers in Neuroergonomics.
