Assessing the public understanding of democracy through conjoint analysis

by Seki, K. (2023). Front. Polit. Sci. 5:976756. doi: 10.3389/fpos.2023.976756

In the published article, there was an error in the Acknowledgments statement. The Asian Barometer Project was missing from the statement. In the article, the statement was incorrectly written as: “KS thank Hao-Jung Hsieh, Jae-Hee Jung, Roni Lehrer, and Wen-Chin Wu for their comments to an early version of this paper.”

The corrected Acknowledgments statement appears below:

Acknowledgments

“KS thank Hao-Jung Hsieh, Jae-Hee Jung, Roni Lehrer, and Wen-Chin Wu for their comments to an early version of this paper. The Asian Barometer Survey data analyzed in this article were collected by the Asian Barometer Project (2013–2016), which was co-directed by Professors Fu Hu and Yun-han Chu and received major funding support from Taiwan's Ministry of Education, Academia Sinica and National Taiwan University. The Asian Barometer Project Office (www.asianbarometer.org) is solely responsible for the data distribution. The author appreciates the assistance in providing data by the institutes and individuals aforementioned.”

The author apologizes for this error and state that this does not change the scientific conclusions of the article in any way. The original article has been updated.
