This manuscript investigates the clinical characteristics, epidemiological patterns, and thromboelastographic evaluation of hemotoxic snakebites in Southern China over a 9-year period.By providing comprehensive data on the diagnosis and management of venom-induced coagulopathy, particularly highlighting the innovative utility of thromboelastography as a diagnostic and prognostic tool, the study addresses a significant but under-recognized public health issue in tropical and subtropical regions. The findings contribute to improving emergency medical response, guiding clinical decision-making, and informing public health strategies for snakebite prevention and treatment. This work aligns well with the scope of Frontiers in Public Health, specifically in the sections of Neglected Tropical Diseases, Emergency Medicine, and Epidemiology.
