About this Research Topic
The aims of this Research Topic are (1) to inspire novel concepts and ideas relating to the modeling, topology, and control technologies of power electronic converters, and (2) to improve the controllability and reliability of power electronic converters, thereby developing smarter and flexible modern power systems. This Research Topic aims to promote novel findings, innovation ideas, and breakthroughs in these fields. Applications papers are also welcome.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
1. New concepts of state-space modeling and impedance modeling of power electronic converters
2. Offline and online simulation techniques of power electronic converters
3. Fault identification and protection schemes of power electronic converters
4. New topologies of DC-DC and DC-AC power electronic converters for grid-integration of new energy systems
5. Novel control methods and coordination control strategies of power electronic converters for grid-integration of new energy systems
6. Interactive effect analysis of power electronic converters and new energy sources
7. Discussion on grid side requirements and codes for power electronic converters
