The 21st Century has brought exceptional achievements and major advancements in science and research, highlighted especially in the rapidly-developing field of Lab-on-a-Chip technologies. To celebrate the launch of Frontiers in Lab on a Chip Technologies, Frontiers has organized a series of special issue Research Topics to highlight the latest advances in this field.
Led by Specialty Chief Editor Prof. Xiangchun Xuan (Clemson University), "Insights In Micro- and Nano-fluidics " solicits brief, forward-looking contributions from the members of the journal's accomplished Editorial Board, focused on new insights, novel developments, current challenges, latest discoveries, major accomplishments and future perspectives in the field. Authors are encouraged to identify the greatest challenges in their disciplines, and how to address these challenges.
The goal of this special edition Research Topic is to provide a thorough overview of the field, whilst inspiring, informing and directing researchers in the field.
Important note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
