Background

Neurotechnology has witnessed rapid progress, particularly in addressing neurological disorders. The development of emerging technologies, such as electrophysiological studies, advanced neuroimaging, and telehealth, is paving the way for improved diagnosis and treatment strategies. Sleep studies, gait evaluations, and neuroimaging techniques complement these technologies, offering comprehensive insights into the complex functioning of the human brain. However, despite these advancements, ongoing debates remain regarding their efficacy, accessibility, and the best integration methods into existing healthcare frameworks. As a result, further research is essential to optimize these technologies and address methodological gaps.

This Research Topic aims to enhance understanding of emerging neurotechnologies and their applications in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders. The core objectives include updating on advancements in medical technology relevant to the field, assessing data analysis applications, and exploring neurotechnology's role in neurological rehabilitation. This will involve both the principles underlying these technologies and their practical implementations. By focusing on these areas, we expect to contribute significantly to both academic and clinical advancements in neurotechnology.

To gather further insights into the application and impact of neurotechnology, we welcome articles addressing, but not limited to, the following themes:

-Electrophysiology and its impact on neurological studies
-Technological advances in neuroimaging and sleep studies- Innovative applications in telehealth for neurological care
-Development and use of robotic/assistive devices and neuroprostheses
-Brain-computer interfaces and their clinical potential- Motion analysis through video tracking systems
-The role of machine learning and AI in data analysis for neurotechnology
-Emerging approaches in brain training and cognitive enhancement.
