Global collaboration is the cornerstone of scientific advancement. In order to celebrate the wealth and diversity of research happening across the globe, Frontiers in Nanotechnology is delighted to present an anthology of flagship Research Topics, the Global Excellence series. As part of this series, Global Excellence in Nanotechnology: United States showcases the cutting edge research of researchers based in institutions across the United States, shedding light on global research trends and future challenges.

Submissions highlighting the latest advancements in theory, experiment, and methodology are open across all specialty sections of Frontiers in Nanotechnology, and new articles will be added as they are published.

Please note that spontaneous submissions will be considered only with a preliminary abstract submission, and at least one of the corresponding authors must be based at an institution in the United States.
