Epigenomics and Epigenetics publishes works querying the developmental origins of health and disease by cataloguing the sets of physical markings on chromatin that collaborate to stably alter gene expression. Manuscripts consisting solely of bioinformatics, computational analysis, or predictions based on public databases which are not accompanied by credible validation (e.g. independent cohort or biological validation in vitro or in vivo) will not be accepted in the section Epigenomics and Epigenetics.

All manuscripts must be submitted directly to the section Epigenomics and Epigenetics, where they are peer-reviewed by the Associate and Review Editors of the specialty section.
