Correction: Exploring the integration of artificial intelligence into the teaching hospital model of journalism education in resource-constrained Zambia

  • Department of Media and Communication Studies, University of Zambia, Lusaka, Zambia

In the published article, the name of the department at the University of Zambia was referred to by its old name. It was written as Department of Mass Communication Studies (DMCS), when the correct name is Department of Media and Communications Studies (DMCS).

Under Section Journalism education in Zambia and the teaching hospital model, paragraph 2, the old sentence read:

“At UNZA's Department of Mass Communication Studies (DMCS), the program loosely employs the teaching hospital model, with minor variations, whose core principle is learning by doing, focusing on practical experience, professional mentorship, and innovation.”

The corrected sentence and department appear below:

“At UNZA's Department of Media and Communications Studies (DMCS), the program loosely employs the teaching hospital model, with minor variations, whose core principle is learning by doing, focusing on practical experience, professional mentorship, and innovation.”
