This manuscript fits within the scope of the selected journal and specialty as it presents the first documented case of atezolizumab-induced vanishing bile duct syndrome, a rare and severe immune-mediated adverse event associated with immune checkpoint inhibitors. Given the journal's focus on oncology and immunotherapy, this case brings new perspectives to the field of oncology pharmacovigilance, highlights the clinical relevance of immuno-mediated hepatobiliary toxicity and underlines the importance of multidisciplinary treatment in immuno-oncology.
