Threats and Strategies of Nutritional Metabolic Disorders and Poisoning Diseases in Ruminants

Factors like food stress, hormonal imbalances, and abnormalities in energy metabolism can lead to disorders in hepatic lipid metabolism and dyslipidemia. This, in turn, increases susceptibility, causes damage to tissues and inflammation, and weakens the immunity of the animals, thereby adding to the load on livestock production, food security, and quality. Understanding the potential connection between nutrition, metabolic and poisoning diseases, and immune dysfunction in ruminants is beneficial for overall animal husbandry productivity.

The main purpose of this Research Topic is to provide comprehensive insights into the scope and complexity of nutritional metabolic disorders, poisoning diseases, and immune dysfunction in ruminants.
