Background

Recent breakthroughs in biosensing technologies have significantly enhanced the rapid detection, diagnosis, and real-time monitoring of microbial infections, offering promising solutions for clinical and public health applications. These novel biosensors—ranging from point-of-care devices to sophisticated, high-throughput platforms—leverage cutting-edge approaches such as nanomaterials, microfluidics, and artificial intelligence to improve sensitivity, specificity, and turnaround time.
