Background

Frontiers in Immunology is delighted to present the 'Reviews in' series of article collections.



Reviews in Insect immune responses will publish high-quality scholarly review papers on key topics in Insect immune responses. It aims to highlight recent advances in the field, whilst emphasizing important directions and new possibilities for future inquiries. We anticipate the research presented will promote discussion in the scientific community that will translate to best practice applications in clinical, public health and policy settings.



The Reviews in Insect immune responses collection welcomes full-length, mini, or systematic review papers that cover, but are not limited to, the following sub-topics:

• comparative genomics approaches to delineate immune pathways

• inheritability of immune responses

• non classical infection resistance mechanisms

• functional and mechanistic aspects of insect immune response at the protein and cellular levels
