Factors' learning motivation dynamics in training course: A study with students in Kazakhstan

A lack or low level of learning motivation is one of the most significant obstacles to the professional training of potential specialists. The manuscript corresponds to the topic of the Frontiers in Education Journal, as it explores the problem of low learning motivation among students, key aspects of learning motivation in the context of designing educational courses, which is directly related to the quality of professional training. The purpose of the study is to identify the factors that influence the dynamics of students' learning motivation at various phases of training course, and then to modify the course's structure accordingly. The students were interviewed using two questionnaires developed by the authors. Students from universities and colleges in Kazakhstan took part in the survey. The students identified the dynamics of learning motivation across several components of the training course, including communication, methods of teaching, teacher, tasks, and evaluation.
